How CT Flat Fee, a Division of Connecticut Real Estate Brokerage LLC, Works
In the world of real estate, brokers use a powerful tool called the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to share their property inventory. However, what sets us apart is how we redefine the commission structure.
With traditional brokerages, you might expect to pay a commission of about 5% to 6%. But with CT Flat Fee, we revolutionize the process. You’ll only pay a modest upfront fee ranging from $99 to $1999, depending on the package and MLS selection. This replaces the costly listing side of the commission. Highly discounted fees are due at the time of listing. We suggest a Coming Soon listing in order to properly put the marketing package together.
Here’s where it gets even better: If the buyer doesn’t have their own broker, your upfront listing fee is all you pay, saving you the entire commission. If the buyer does have a broker, you agree to a closing commission. While we’re happy to publish any commission starting at 1.25%, we recommend offering a competitive commission of 2½% to 3%.
