Steve Schappert, the founder and principal broker of Connecticut Real Estate, brings over 18 years of experience and a proven record of success. Before launching this multi-state initiative, Steve ran a relocation business that served up to 550 clients per month, helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of moving and home buying. His expertise and client-focused approach caught national attention — Woman’s Day Magazine interviewed him and went on to recommend his company, Buyers Trust, to buyers around the world. That recognition affirmed what our clients already know: Steve is passionate about helping people find the right home, in the right place, for the right price.

Despite global challenges — including the pandemic that delayed our original 2020 Florida launch — we continue to adapt, innovate, and expand. Our timeline now includes establishing a strong presence in New England, then growing south and west through our reciprocal state partnerships.
By 2026, our vision is to have fully operational real estate offices in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Florida, Ohio, and New York, with additional expansions following soon after. This structure will position Connecticut Real Estate as one of the few independent brokerages offering multi-state relocation and referral services through a network of mission-driven agents.
