At the helm of this initiative is Steve Schappert, The Connecticut Real Estate Broker, who brings nearly two decades of real estate leadership and hands-on experience to the table. For over 10 years, Steve operated a successful relocation business, managing up to 550 clients per month. His dedication to customer satisfaction and ethical real estate practices earned him national recognition — including an interview and endorsement from Woman’s Day Magazine, which recommended his company, Buyers Trust, to buyers around the globe.
Now, with a renewed vision and a broader mission, Steve is taking that same dedication to build a national team of top-tier agents. The plan is straightforward: to identify and partner with motivated agents in each reciprocal state — including Oklahoma — who are committed to providing superior client service, maintaining integrity, and achieving long-term growth within the Connecticut Real Estate network.
A Strategic Growth Plan
Our roadmap for expansion began with Massachusetts and Rhode Island in 2021. Despite the challenges of the 2020 global pandemic, Connecticut Real Estate remained focused, flexible, and forward-thinking. Rather than halting progress, we adapted our approach — embracing virtual tools, online meetings, and digital marketing to keep clients connected and informed. Now, as we enter a new phase of growth, we are preparing to establish a strong presence in Florida, Oklahoma, and the rest of our reciprocal partner states.
Each new regional office will serve as a hub for relocation services, real estate transactions, and community connections. Our goal is not just to open offices but to create full-service centers that integrate real estate brokerage, training, and marketing support for agents while offering clients a streamlined, high-touch experience.
