In this episode, we take a deep dive into the #1 challenge most real estate professionals face: inconsistent prospecting. Every agent wants more listings, more deals, and more growth, but the truth is simple—your income is directly tied to the amount of consistent lead generation you do each week. The survey we conducted uncovered some incredibly eye-opening statistics that prove this point beyond a doubt.

One of the most interesting findings was that agents who prospect 5 or more hours per week earn over $200,000 a year on average. Think about that. Just five focused hours—with intention, scripts, follow-up, and accountability—creates a massive separation between average agents and top performers. What this tells us is that success isn’t mysterious. It’s mathematical. It’s behavioral. It’s about doing the right activities long enough to experience the payoff.

As we dug even deeper into the survey results, another powerful insight became clear. Agents who follow up with a lead only 3 times earn dramatically less than those who follow up 5 or more times. And honestly, this shouldn’t be surprising. In today’s marketplace, your leads are bombarded with options, noise, and distractions. Many potential clients simply need an extra touch, an additional reminder, or a more consistent nudge before they respond. The fortune is still very much in the follow-up.

The difference between mediocre outcomes and extraordinary results is almost always found in the details of daily discipline. If you want more opportunities, if you want more listings, and if you want a business that grows sustainably year after year, consistent prospecting and strong follow-up systems are non-negotiable.
