Position Overview:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Connecticut Real Estate is a critical leader responsible for overseeing the company’s technological infrastructure and spearheading technology development and innovation. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technology Strategy and Vision:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
    • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to determine their potential impact on the company’s operations and services.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align technology initiatives with the company’s strategic goals.
  2. Infrastructure Management:
    • Oversee the management of the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud services.
    • Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of the technology infrastructure to support business operations.
    • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and assets.
  3. Technology Development and Innovation:
    • Lead the development of innovative technology solutions to enhance the company’s service offerings and operational efficiency.
    • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications, platforms, and tools.
    • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technology team.
  4. Digital Transformation:
    • Drive digital transformation initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.
    • Implement and integrate advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and automation.

    • Utilize project management methodologies to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology projects meet business requirements and objectives.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  7. Vendor and Partner Management:

  9. Stakeholder Communication:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar senior technology leadership role, preferably within the real estate, construction, finance, or technology sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of technology trends, digital transformation, and innovation.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
  • Proficiency in software development, application design, and project management.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing technology teams.
