Connecticut Real Estate is a Connecticut brokerage created by Connecticut real estate broker, Steve Schappert for Connecticut Realtors to provide exceptional service for Connecticut home buyers, sellers and investors. Corporate profits stay in Connecticut and are reinvested in the state economy.
The company currently has agents in Thomaston, Danbury, Hamden, and Bristol with new agents coming on board in Plymouth, Naugatuck and Torrington. The brokerage was officially licensed on July 28, 2018 and is now recruiting real estate agents throughout Connecticut that want to live their life with passion and embrace a career with meaning. CONNECTICUT REAL ESTATE serves the residential, commercial and investment segments of the market.
The corporate offices are in a Victorian Home in Thomaston that used to belong to Seth Thomas, the world-famous clock maker. They are located at 147 Elm Street. The company is now identifying 10 locations across the state for regional offices that will be called Connecticut Real Estate Centers. Each regional center will be 20,000-100,000 sf of shared office space dedicated to educating people about real estate, finance, healthy living and how to combine them all for better living. We plan to lease office space to complimentary companies.

- REAL ESTATE: Steve Schappert founded Buyer’s Trust Real Estate in 1996 and quickly built a network of 2000 agents around the world. Steve Schappert is now the CEO of CONNECTICUT REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE LLC. which educates & assists buyers, sellers & investors of Connecticut homes, land, commercial, industrial and investment property.
- CONSTRUCTION: Schappert worked for a framing contractor at age eighteen and went on to build twelve homes, completed over 1200 renovation projects, designed several zero energy commercial buildings and shipped a zero-energy home to Germany! Schappert has performed building inspections on over $30,000,000 worth of multifamily properties and created detailed estimates on renovation that would maximize portfolio value and equity. Schappert is also a trained building analyst completing over 100 energy audits.
- MARKETING: Schappert spent 8 years running The Green Marketing Company helping small businesses and Noble Prize winners reach their target audience.
- NEGOTIATING: Schappert has spent 14 years assisting doctors, lawyers and investors purchase investment property. Schappert also worked with the Secret Service for 2 years convincing international bank fraud criminals to come to the USA where they could be convicted. Schappert assisted with 3 arrests.
